I. After paying the fees at the clinic payment counter, patients should take the prescription to the outpatient dispensary to pick up the medicine according to the prescription pick-up number. II. After the discharged patient or a family member pays at the discharge payment counter, take the prescription to the outpatient dispensary to pick up the medicine according to the prescription pick-up number.

What should I do if I receive the wrong medicine or receive more medicine than prescribed?
Please go directly to the outpatient dispensary where the medicine was originally picked up and ask the pharmacist for assistance. If you find the above problems after you go home, please call the contact number on the prescription, or call and ask to be transferred to the Pharmacy Consultation Office or the outpatient dispensary for assistance.

Can I pick up medicines in other hospitals if I have a refillable prescription for chronic disease?
Refillable prescriptions for chronic diseases issued at the Taipei or Linkou hospital branches can be collected in either of these two hospitals. Other than these, prescriptions can only be picked up in the issuing hospital and not from other hospitals. For example, a refillable prescription for chronic disease issued at the Linkou hospital branch can be collected at the Taipei hospital branch but not in the Taoyuan or Keelung hospital branch.

Please call the contact number on the prescription, or call and ask to be transferred to the Pharmacy Consultation Office or the outpatient dispensary for assistance. 3. You can also enter the name of the drug for inquiry at the medicine consultation page of the Hospital's website.

I use traditional Chinese herbal medicine or medicines prescribed by doctors in different departments. Can I take them together?
I. If you use traditional Chinese herbal medicine or medicines prescribed by other doctors, please inform your attending physician in advance of the medicines you are taking during the clinic visit. It is recommended that you show the doctor the packages of the medicines you are taking and follow the doctor’s instructions. II. Generally, Chinese medicine and Western medicine cannot be consumed at the same time, and the time between taking the two should be more than two hours. 3. If you have any questions, please contact the outpatient dispensary, pharmacy consultation office or doctor immediately.

After using antibiotics and analgesics, my condition has improved. Can I decide to discontinue the medication myself?
The doctor decides on the dosage necessary for the course of treatment. Please use the medicine according to the doctor's advice. In order to avoid affecting the efficacy of the medicine or causing adverse sequelae due to discontinuation, please contact the outpatient dispensary, Medicine Consultation Office or your doctor if you have any questions. Do not decide to discontinue the medication by yourself or arbitrarily take other medicines.
