演講題目：The fruit fly: Tackling human diseases

My group is interested to understand the physiological and pathological roles of membrane trafficking in the nervous system. To tackle it, we use powerful Drosophila genetic model and combine various imaging systems, in vitro reconstitution assay, and electrophysiology. Focused research topics are as follows:
1) Molecular mechanism of synaptic vesicle recycling in fast neurotransmission.
2) Regulation of neuron-glia crosstalk in health and diseases.
3) Role of intracellular glycans and glycan-binding proteins in neurodegenerative diseases.
